My truck has 4:10 gears and 315 70 R17 "34 inch" tires on it right now, If I put 37 inch tire on it could I gain MPG? I would be doing less rpms at 70 MPH. Right now I am doing about 2250 rpms at 70-75 MPH and getting about 450-500 miles per tank. thanks

More rubber = more weight lift kit = more aero drag I dont think you will see any real gains in fuel mildge to off set cost of tires and lift but it will sure look Good.

im with fullpull you get the new tires they in turn weigh alot more and do indeed catch more wind so it takes more power and fuel to get up to speed and stay there

the weight is a factor but its not how much air they catch the taller the tires the wider they r thay they have more rolling resistence with the road also take mire power to get em rollin so i doubt u will c any mileage improvement if any u might lose 1 *or* 2mpg
